14 May Geotek at SCA 2019 in Pau, France
Geotek will be co-exhibiting with Core Specialist Services at the 33rd International Symposium of the Society of Core Analysts (SCA) in Pau, France, 26th-30th August. The SCA is a chapter of the SPWLA, and aims to inform all with an interest in using or obtaining reservoir evaluation information from rock and core samples. This year Geotek will be introducing our latest system – PlugXcan, which is a high resolution, high throughput side wall core and core plug X-ray CT system.
It is our fifth year attending SCA, following great success at the previous years both informing and learning about current developments in reservoir evaluation. This year we will be co-exhibiting with Craig Lindsay, founder of Core Specialist Services (CSS). Over the past year and a half we have been on a joint venture with CSS acquiring both 2D and 3D X-ray CT datasets from whole core, as well as sidewall cores and core plugs at resolutions between 40 microns and 400 microns for the Scottish and global oil and gas market. We are both very much looking forward to meeting attendees and discussing the projects we have been working on, and the services that we can offer.
