15 Oct Geotek partner with SOLINTEC to launch jointly-operated core scanning services in Brazil
Geotek and its distributor Bratexco proudly announce a new partnership with Brazil-based geological services company SOLINTEC, where the installation of a Geotek multi-sensor core logger (MSCL-S) will take place at SOLINTEC’s recently-inaugurated Sample Screening Center in Rio de Janeiro.
SOLINTEC is widely recognised as the Leading Laboratory for Integrated Geological Services in Brazil. From its Laboratory & Storage Facilities, the company has been providing one-stop operational and technical support to the highest quality standards since 1994.
Geotek has been growing its presence in the Brazilian geoscience community with its exclusive distributor Bratexco, therefore we are delighted to have partnered with SOLINTEC to expand our core logging services within Brazil.
Initial core logging services will include density, P-wave velocity, magnetic susceptibility, electrical resistivity, spectral gamma, and XRF and VNIR/SWIR spectroscopy, as well as high-resolution linescan imaging under white and UV light. Additional services, selected from the wide range of applications developed by Geotek, are planned for 2021.
In addition, the new partnership also opens a wide range of opportunities for the execution of R&D projects under the Brazilian levy-compliance regulation.
