Services

Geotek provides services including core logging, hydrate analysis, sediment analysis and marine project management.

Core logging services are provided for industrial and academic field expeditions. Geotek handles the analysis of cores at sea or in the field, from initial core sectioning and MSCL-S logging through to core splitting and split-core logging with our MSCL-XZ. If core logging is required in the context of a core repository, Geotek recommends a core logging service based around the MSCL-XYZ.

For gas hydrate field expeditions, Geotek provides specialty services tailored to the requirement to identify and quantify gas hydrate, including pressure core analysis and geochemical services necessary for gas hydrate quantification and integration with downhole logs.

Project management of marine projects includes United Kingdom Offshore Strategic Environmental Assessment, research in the Caspian sea and the Indian National Gas Hydrate Program Expedition 1.
