Geological Survey of Canada XRF upgrade
Peter & Melanie integrated an Olympus Innov-X Delta XRF analyzer onto MSCL-S #92 at the Geological Survey of Canada in Dartmouth.
The X-ray fluorescence spectrometer attaches to a split-core sensor arm (pictured below), that will also carry their Minolta colour spectrophotometer and magnetic susceptibility point sensor. Because they will measure electrical resistivity at the same time as they use the split-core sensors, Peter moved the electrical resistivity sensor to an alternate position on the track to remove possible interference from the moving metal objects.

The resistivity moved over to avoid interference.
