Elemental core analysis using XRF measurements on split cores
Geotek has teamed up with Innov-X Systems to integrate their handheld X-ray fluorescence (XRF) analyzers onto the MSCL. This compact XRF system can easily be added as an upgrade to existing MSCL systems.
The Innov-X handheld X-ray fluorescence analyzer provides a viable alternative to dedicated XRF core scanning systems at a fraction of the cost. It operates in parallel with other split core sensors and when not in use on the MSCL the instrument can simply be removed from the device and taken into the field.
