MSCL-S #107 Installation

Peter installed MSCL-S #107 in the Geology department at the University of Otago in new Zealand.

The MSCL-S system was installed with gamma density, P-wave velocity, magnetic susceptibility, electrical resistivity, Geoscan linescan imaging and colour spectrophotometry sensors. The MSCL-S will be used on a variety of different samples including U-channels sub-sampled from cores for palaeomagnetism studies.

The system will be used to provide valuable data for the department's research into palaeoclimatology, palaeoceanography and sedimentology.

This system is the first to be delivered with new and improved electronics and software.
