Maintenance visit to GEOMAR

On the 29th April John visited GEOMAR in Kiel, to perform a maintenance check on their standard logging system, MSCL-S #67.

The logger is fitted with sensors to measure the electrical resistivity, magnetic susceptibility, gamma density and p-wave velocity of sediment cores. John performed calibration checks on all these sensors, upgraded the MSCL software and provided a short introduction to the MSCL for new staff members at GEOMAR.
